Terms of Service
Article 1 – Definitions
In these general terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
- Cooling-off Period: The period during which the consumer can exercise the right of withdrawal.
- Consumer: The natural person not acting in the exercise of a profession or business and who enters into a distance agreement with the entrepreneur.
- Ongoing Agreement: A distance agreement concerning a series of products or services, with delivery and/or purchase obligations spread over time.
- Right of Withdrawal: The consumer’s option to withdraw from the distance contract within the cooling-off period.
- Entrepreneur: The natural or legal person offering products or services to consumers at a distance.
- Distance Agreement: n agreement concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer as part of an organized system for distance sales, using one or more means of distance communication.
- CESOP: The Central Electronic System of Payment Information, introduced by the EU to monitor payment service providers.

Article 3 – Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to every offer made by the entrepreneur and to every distance agreement concluded. Before the agreement is finalized, the terms and conditions will be made available electronically or otherwise.
Article 4 – The Offer
- All offers are non-binding. The entrepreneur reserves the right to modify offers.
- Each offer clearly states the total costs, including shipping, import duties, and any additional charges imposed by postal or courier services.
Article 5 – The Agreement
The agreement is concluded once the consumer accepts the offer and complies with the stated conditions. The entrepreneur immediately confirms acceptance by email.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal
- The consumer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of receiving the product without giving a reason.
- Return shipping costs are the consumer’s responsibility when exercising the right of withdrawal.
Article 7 – Costs in Case of Withdrawal
The entrepreneur will refund payments within 14 days of withdrawal, provided the product is returned in its original condition.
Article 8 – Customs and VAT Regulations
- The customer is responsible for complying with all legal obligations regarding the importation of goods in the destination country, including taxes and customs duties.
- The entrepreneur does not act as the importer of the goods.
- The customer must ensure the purchased goods comply with local import and usage regulations.
- Any additional costs related to customs clearance, such as administrative fees, are entirely the customer's responsibility.
- The entrepreneur will provide the necessary documentation for shipment but does not guarantee compliance with local import requirements.
Article 9 – CESOP Compliance
As of 2024, payment data is registered in the CESOP system (Central Electronic System of Payment Information) in accordance with EU regulations. The entrepreneur complies with these regulations, which may affect payment monitoring and reporting.
Article 10 – Conformity and Warranty
- The entrepreneur guarantees that the products conform to the agreement and to applicable legal requirements.
- Defects must be reported in writing within 14 days.
- Products must be returned in their original packaging and undamaged.
Article 11 – Delivery
- Orders will be delivered within 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
- In case of delays, the consumer will be notified within 14 days of the order.
- Orders are shipped under terms where the customer is the recipient and responsible for any import procedures.
- The entrepreneur ensures proper shipping but is not liable for customs delays or issues.
- Failure to comply with import obligations by the customer is not a valid reason for cancellation or refund of the order.
Article 12 – Complaints Handling
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of discovery.
- The entrepreneur will respond within 14 days. If a longer handling period is required, an indicative timeline will be provided.
Article 13 – Disputes
These general terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law.
Disputes will preferably be resolved through mutual agreement. If necessary, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
